Not all that is dangerous and dark in the world was born in the land of Talisman. There are things, ancient and powerful, that come from the stars themselves to wreck destruction. Due to their varied form and origins these lethal foes are called the Zodiacs.

The Zodiacs

The Zodiacs are treated as powerful monsters but they force a character to engage them in Combat and Psychic Combat, at the same time!
A Zodiac Enemy takes only 1 Life if it is victorious in Combat or Psychic Combat and affects the Character it defeats as listed on the card itself.
A Zodiac Enemy that is defeated in Combat or Psychic Combat but not both has a Strength or Craft token placed on it, facedown. A Zodiac has a -1 to Strength and Craft for every such token placed on it.
A Zodiac Enemy that is defeated in both Combat and Psychic Combat is placed in the Adventure discard pile and the victor given his choice of a Strength, Craft, Life, or a Spell.


Fighting Back

Just because they are deadly opponents doesn't mean you cannot stand against the Zodiacs!

Minor Rule Changes

1. Astral Conjunction doubles the Strength and Craft of Zodiac Enemies while it is in effect.
